^ I love the Hypnose mascara - this must be my third or fourth tube :) It thickens, lengthens and curls all at the same time. It's rare to find a mascara that does all three well. Now that I think about it, it must be my third or fourth Artliner also! The artliner comes in a small selection of colours, but I go for black every time. It comes with its own applicator, which is so good that I have never felt the need to go out and buy a liquid eyeliner brush.
^ What was inside - Eau Micellaire Douceur Cleansing Water, Bi Facil Sensitive Eyes Instant Cleanser, Genefique Youth Activator, Hydra Zen Neurocream & a mini Hypnose Mascara (not photographed.) It is just me or do the Lancome product names sound very scientific?! I suppose it's just their marketing!
Lancome is not a particularly 'young' brand - although many buy their eye makeup products such as their lash primer and mascara, I very rarely hear their lipsticks and blushes talked about, for example. I can understand why this is the case - I think their target age group is probably for maturer ladies, but I think it is a brand which is well worth checking out when you next pass by the counter!

Nice haul! And what a generous GWP, I love it when brands pamper you like that. Here it's nearly impossible to get even a sample! I have a small tube of Hypnose, I like it but it's not amazing...maybe I should try full size?

Thanks :) I know, I was so surprised to find such a lot in there! Not all brands are as generous as Lancome in the UK though. I would definitely say try the full size! Sample mascaras are never much good. If you do go for it, hope you love it as much as I do :) xx

ReplyDeleteGreat stuff. I agree Lancome is not a 'young' brand. It seems to have lost the fun edge it used to have abour 8 years ago when juicy tubes first came out. Even 5 years ago it was still fun and a great brand. NOW??? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
ReplyDeleteI know! I think Juicy Tubes really drew in a younger target group. They need to launch some new, fun collections and products. I do like this year's Spring collection though..but they need more of it! xx
